The Titanic

The Titanic, 1912.
Introduction:
On April 10, 1912, the Titanic, the largest ship afloat, left Southampton, England on her voyage to New York.
This ship was thought to be the safest ship ever built, so safe that it carried only 20 lifeboats!
The catastrophe:
Four days into the journey,  at 11:40.p.m, on the cold and black night of April, the Titanic struck an iceberg.
The sinking lasted two hours.  There were people that could escape before the ship sank into the dark Atlantic Ocean.  But,  unfortunately one thousand five hundred and twenty two passengers were lost. The Ocean swallowed thousands of people destroying families,  friendships and more.
Interview:
Elizabeth Shue talked to us,  she was a passenger of this ship.
-Did you notice something unusual before the catastrophe occurred?
"Yes,  the ship was moving too fast,  but I didn't pay much attention to that."
-How could you escape?
"When the catastrophe occurred I was with my best friend playing cards near the lifeboats. So, we had enough time to go to the lifeboats and leave the ship.  We were so lucky! "
-Did you share the boat with someone else?
"Yesfortunately a whole family that was in the playing room with us was able to escape with us"
